The river water continues to recede creating some dry areas. However, swift currents remain in all areas making it unsafe for residents to enter. Please realize many of those making the decision to prevent you from entering the area, live in the areas too! We are all anxious to go home and access our damage/loss and begin the recovery process. Please be patient!
If you have animals still needing to be evacuated, please call City Hall at 281-533-9809. Texas Animal Health Commission, SPCA, Texas A&M Mobile Vet units are continuing to make rescues and feeding those that can shelter in place.
