The water levels continue to recede.
Texas Animal Health Commission, SPCA, and Texas A&M Mobile Vet units are still working to rescue and feed shelter in place pets and livestock in the flooded areas. If you still need assistance and have not already contacted City Hall with your information, please call 281-533-9809. The City has brought these organizations in as a result of resident’s requests of assistance. At the requests of residents, pets on the following roads have been welfare checked and/or rescued:
- Fort Bend
The SPCA teams are currently in Section 1 performing welfare checks and/or rescues.
The Fort Bend Sheriff’s Office will have deputies on ATV’s patrolling the impacted neighborhoods.
We continue to accept donations at City Hall of clothing, cleaning supplies, food items, toiletries, etc. In the very near future, residents impacted by the flood will be able to come to The Red Potato Market Barn to pick up items. They will be open daily between 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
